Our Kids Ministry at theStone is a vibrant, fun, and safe place where children can learn about Jesus and grow in their faith. Each week, kids experience engaging Bible lessons, interactive worship, and age-appropriate activities that help them understand God’s love in a meaningful and exciting way. We are passionate about partnering with parents to lay a strong spiritual foundation and help kids discover that following Jesus is the greatest adventure of all. From infants through elementary age, every child is welcomed, known, and loved.
We offer our Kids ministry for infants through 4th graders during our second service at 10:30 on Sunday mornings. Scroll down to meet our teachers and see what our kids are currently learning!
A foundry is used to take raw materials, melt them down, and then pour them into a casting or a mold in order to produce a product. That product, once cooled, is then sanded and cleaned up to become something new.
In a similar manner, as we raise the next generation of disciples and teach them about Christ our Lord, we are taking the human that is affected by sin due to the fall of Adam and Eve in the garden, “melting” that person down, and reforming them into the image of Christ. As we continue to share the Gospel with our kids, we shower them in the Truth and the love of God in order to polish them into who God calls them to be.
Our goal is to walk alongside parents in laying a biblical foundation for their children at a young age. Join us Sunday mornings for fun, engaging lessons and real life applications!
This Month’s Biblical Theme is: God never fails.
Whenever I do object lessons or teach kids, I always have a plan A, a plan B, and a plan C because how kids respond is unpredictable. God is so different from you and from me. He doesn’t need backup plans because His plan, His love, and His nature never change and never fail. So many kids have felt the sting of disappointment. From the loss of friends and a favorite pet to broken homes and the constant reminder on the news that our world is falling apart in so many ways.
What we need to remind our kids this month is how, in the book of Judges, people failed God and each other, but God never failed them. And Jesus never fails us. Even when things look bleak because of the sinful nature and sinful men, we have a sure and certain hope anchored in an unfailing God. (Hebrews 6:19)
