So that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 1 PETER 1:7

Our Student Ministry at theStone is all about helping 5th through 12th grade students grow in their relationship with Jesus, build lasting friendships, and discover their identity and purpose in their Creator. Our mission is to pour into the students; we want to fill their cups and make sure they know there is a God who loves them so much, He died for them and would do it again. We have real conversations about life and faith, and our students are encouraged to live boldly for Christ in their schools, homes, and communities.

What does trusting an all-powerful God look like in the life of a teen today? At theForge, we step into hard questions together, support one another, and strive to create a space where students feel seen, valued, and equipped to navigate the challenges of today with truth, hope, and confidence in God’s Word.

Why theForge?

At theForge, our mission is to shape faith in the students that can stand against the enemy and worldly opposition. As a forge purifies and transforms, we are building on the bliblical foundation that has been laid and chipping away at the false truths the world has laid on the students.

Sunday mornings are a time to dive deeper into the Word and fellowship with one another. We offer breakfast, play fun games, and Pastor Chad gives a short sermon that builds on what we have been learning and applies to middle and high schoolers' lives today. We end with small group discussion to edify each other and better understand how the Word of God still applies to modern trials and challenges.

Wednesday evenings are more laid-back and geared toward invitation. We may see more students that don't attend theStone, and for this reason we shift gears toward topical studies that are easy to understand and apply, even if a student doesn't have church experience. While the rhythm is similar to Sundays, with games and snacks followed by a message and discussion, Wednesdays strive for connection and ensuring each attendee knows he or she is loved immensely by the Creator of the universe.

We invite all community 5th-12th grade students to join us at theForge on Sundays at 10:30AM, during second service, and Wednesdays at 6:30PM for Youth Group!
