What's Your Why?

If someone became aware that you were a Christ follower and asked, "Why are you a Christian?" or "Why do you believe in the faith you follow?" What would you answer be? Would it be “My parents are Christians” or “I like going to youth group” or “My friends are Christians”. What would you say? Would these answers stand up to further questioning? Are these answers or ones like it the best you've got?
